EM222: Extension module
Expansion module for the EG222 and PN222 device series. Up to three expansion modules can be connected to the base unit, thereby expanding the performance of your system. The module offers 4 analog inputs, 12 digital HTL PNP inputs, and 8 digital high-side driver outputs, and enables easy device addressing via DIL switches accessible on the front panel. Device configuration varies depending on the model: EG222 is configured via the company's own cloud interface sens2cloud, while PN222 is configured using engineering tools from various PLC manufacturers. The EM222 module also provides Modbus gateway functionality for Modbus RTU, enabling the secure integration of different networks.

- Up to three extension modules can be connected to the base unit (EG222 or PN222)
- 4 x analog inputs 15 bits for ±10 V or 0/4 ... 20 mA
- 12 x digital HTL, PNP inputs [10 ... 30 VDC]

- 24 V power supply (18 ... 30 VDC) via bus connector through base unit (EG222 or PN222)
- Simple device addressing via DIL switch accessible on the front panel

- Compact housing for mounting on 35 mm top-hat rail (according to EN 60715)
