GI210: Switch between 2 SSI Encoders and a target device
The GI210 is an encoder switch for contactless, bounce-free switching of two SSI encoders on a SSI master. The compact device is cascadable with other devices and is easily mounted by snapping onto a top-hat rail in the switch cabinet. Typical applications are for example in conveyor systems, where a smart device (master) makes the sum or difference of two independent SSI encoders. There are also applications in drive technology (e.g. automatic roll change) or in the general automation of redundant safety systems.
