These signal converters are suitable to translate any angular or positional information from an encoder or a linear scale into an
analogue signal or a serial or a parallel data format. All converters are designed for a 18-30 volts DC power supply. For AC Power units see Accessories
IV251: SSI - to - Analogue and SSI - to - Serial Converter
- SSI Signal converter suitable for use with all SSI type sensors and absolute encoders from 9 to 25 bits, either with Master mode or with Slave mode
- Analogue outputs +/- 10V, 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA, proportional to the encoder position
- RS 232 and RS 485 serial interface for readout of the actual encoder position
- Easy to set up by simple TEACH procedure, or by PC (operator software see Download)
- Free scaling, programmable linearisation curves etc.
ZU252: Incremental Encoder - to - Analogue and Serial Converter
- Incremental Signal converter suitable for use with all incremental encoders, proximitiy switches etc. either with TTL/RS422 output or with HTL (10-30V) output
IP251: SSI - to - Parallel / Serial and Serial - to - Parallel Converter
- SSI Signal converter suitable to convert SSI data from an absolute encoder or sensor to parallel data, either with Master or Slave operation
- Also suitable for conversion of serial RS232 data to a parallel data format
- 25 bits parallel outputs, push-pull and short-circuit-proof, programmable output codes: Binary, Gray or BCD
- RS232 serial link for readout of sensor data
- Multiple facilities for scaling and linearization of parallel output data
- Easy to set up by DIL switches or by PC (operator software see Download)
